What it means to be a man today is undergoing a profound and necessary revision. Male identified writers are redefining, reclaiming, and remixing masculinity. No longer is silence a defining feature nor emotional distance. These writers, whether in fiction, creative non-fiction, or poetry, explore a wide range of challenges such as feminist fathering or the painful but liberating work of attempting to dismantle their own internalized patriarchy. They ask tough questions: how to deconstruct the gender binary, is it possible to embody manhood while disavowing misogyny, what happens when we foster nurturing, vulnerable friendships with other men?  Join us as we share profound and playful work that re-imagines the possibilities of being a man.
